Liberty Print Baby Bib Wiltshire Blue
This Dribblebuster Liberty print baby bib Wiltshire blue is a leaf and berry classic design first made for Liberty in 1933 and updated in 1968.
Designer dribble bibs made from Liberty Tana Lawn fabrics. These legendary designs are printed on impossibly soft fine, high thread count 100% cotton tana lawn fabric.
The Liberty store opened on London’s Regent Street in 1875 and began importing fabrics from Japan, China and India. A dyer and printer in Staffordshire was employed to choose colour ranges, celebrated designers (including Walthamstow’s local lad, William Morris) were commissioned to design prints, Lancashire mills were used in the production … and in the 1920s a Liberty buyer, William Haynes Dorell, hit on the idea of marketing their cotton lawn as Tana Lawn. Liberty of London fabric is synonymous with classic florals, charming colour palettes and delicately detailed prints.
All our bibs are handmade in our Surrey workshop. These bibs wash and wear well, and keep their shape, and so it is something that is easily passed on from one baby to the next. The bib size around neck is 32 – 34 cms, and the depth at deepest point – 14cms, so they give a good coverage.
This Wiltshire blue dribble bib complements well with a soft blue a navy blue or works well with blue denim.
