Liberty Print Baby Bib for dribbly babies.
This baby bib for dribbly babies Nina is designed to look like a fashionable accessory. It is smart enough to be worn all day, co-ordinating with baby’s outfit, making it ideal for teething babies and little dribblers. The dribble bib with its fleecy backing is highly absorbent and we have been told by our customers that our dribblebuster bibs are the most absorbent on the market!
This lovely leafy design fabric was named after Nina Taylor who was part of the in house team at Liberty London Fabric. It was inspired by the Liberty’s team trip to Iceland. Tana Lawn cotton’s distinctive hand-feel and translucent softness make it a versatile favourite.
The Liberty store opened on London’s Regent Street in 1875 and began importing fabrics from Japan, China and India. A dyer and printer in Staffordshire was employed to choose colour ranges, celebrated designers (including Walthamstow’s local lad, William Morris) were commissioned to design prints, Lancashire mills were used in the production … and in the 1920s a Liberty buyer, William Haynes Dorell, hit on the idea of marketing their cotton lawn as Tana Lawn. Liberty of London fabric is synonymous with classic florals, charming colour palettes and delicately detailed prints.
They are handmade in our Surrey workshop from a double layer of 100% cotton. These award winning bibs wash and wear well, and keep their shape, and so it is something that is easily passed on from one baby to the next. The bib size around neck is 32 – 34 cms, and the depth at deepest point – 14cms, so they give a good coverage.
There are two nickel free plastic poppers for flexible and easy fastening, making the bib grow with baby.
